Some programs run on a self-serve portal. PSI sends a person. Our qualified collectors run chain-of-custody collections and breath alcohol tests at your site, scheduled around your shifts, so a random selection or a hiring wave does not turn into a day of lost work and unaccounted travel. It is the part of a testing program that takes a person on site, and it is what we have built our program around for thirty-five years, across all twenty-one New Jersey counties. We show up, and we hold your hand through the whole process.

- A random selection lands on six people across two shifts, and the collector comes to them

What's included
- Collection crews at your yard, terminal, plant, school, or office
- A dedicated fleet of mobile collection vehicles, equipped for field collections, not personal cars
- Evidential breath testing devices on the DOT-approved list (49 CFR 40.229), maintained under the manufacturer's quality assurance plan with calibration records kept on every device (49 CFR 40.233)
- Shift-time scheduling, including early windows for workforces that start before dawn; random and reasonable-suspicion alcohol tests are done just before, during, or just after safety-sensitive work, and a pre-shift window meets that (49 CFR 382.305(m), 382.307(d))
- Chain of custody maintained in the field, exactly as it would be at a fixed site, on the Federal custody and control form for DOT tests and a non-federal form for non-DOT tests
- Breath alcohol testing on site by qualified Breath Alcohol Technicians, several bilingual in English and Spanish
- Observed collections staffed with an observer of the same sex as the employee, as 49 CFR 40.67(g) requires
- Multi-site employers served under one program, one point of contact

Where can collections happen?
At your location, at our Ocean Township, NJ office, or at a designated site that suits your people, whichever fits the program. On-site work covers all twenty-one New Jersey counties.
Is an on-site collection as defensible as a clinic collection?
Yes. The same 49 CFR Part 40 procedures apply: the Federal custody and control form for DOT tests, the same sealed specimen, an HHS-certified laboratory that reports directly to the MRO, and MRO verification on DOT drug tests as Part 40 requires. Breath alcohol results of 0.02 or higher go from our technician directly to your DER. The chain of custody is the same at any location.
