PSI is based in Ocean Township, New Jersey, and administers drug and alcohol testing programs for employers across the state and in the neighboring states of New York, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Collections happen wherever a program needs them, through multiple options, including our office, on-site crews at your location statewide, and collections nationwide through established networks such as LabCorp and Quest Diagnostics.

How collections reach your people
One program, multiple ways to collect. Most employers use more than one of these in the course of a year.
Our office
Scheduled and walk-in collections at 1398 Highway 35, Suite 6, Ocean Township, New Jersey, for employers who prefer to send people to us. Urine collection and evidential breath alcohol testing, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm Eastern.
On-site crews at your location, statewide
Qualified collectors and the dedicated mobile fleet come to the yard, the terminal, the plant, the school, or the job site, anywhere in the 21 counties, scheduled to the shift. A random selection or a hiring wave is handled where the people already are.
Designated collection sites nationwide
For an employee who works away from home, a driver on the road, or a hire who lives out of state, PSI arranges the collection at a designated site in a nationwide network. DOT tests use the Federal custody and control form, the specimen goes to an HHS-certified laboratory, and the result flows from the laboratory to the MRO to your DER as 49 CFR Part 40 requires.

Employers whose operations cross the Hudson or the Delaware run one program. PSI administers the pools, the policy, and the records from New Jersey, sends on-site crews to your locations in New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and uses designated sites where those fit the program better.

Employees anywhere in the country
Employees outside New Jersey can stay in your PSI program.
Through established collection networks such as LabCorp and Quest Diagnostics, PSI can arrange the collection where the employee is, keep it inside your program, and return the result through the same laboratory, MRO, and DER path as every other test you run. The rules are the same everywhere for the same DOT agency; only the collection site changes.
